…and update for all…

Long time… Well, I guess I’ve been in a state of internet hostility lately. Let’s say I’ve spared myself from online human stupidity. But hey, I guess I’m ready to kickstart this site once again, so just wanted to tell y’all I’m most alive and fuckin’ stronger than ever! Other than that, some new rad stuff from clients of mine will be shared at www.studioquasar.se shortly, so keep an eye open… Hail Satan!

A fine cover, played by my buddy and guitar shredder Julian Eriksson

This is what Julian has to say… (thanx for those fine words ma man!)

“Being both a mentor and a very dear friend, Patrik has been an awesome inspiration for a long time. So, when Ammotrack were looking for new guitar players, even though I lived in Japan at the time, I decided to make this little video (a great excuse for me to take the time to figure out the solo). I think it’s a really catchy song, with a great fast solo, and it acts like a real kickstart to a really good album!

But it was hard to decide which song to play, since there are so many great songs and guitar tracks from the Patrik-shred-library to pick and choose from!

Cheers!
//Julian”

Quest Of Aidance – “Sothis Allegro” (instrumental)

“Sothis Allegro” – a song I wrote and performed for Swedish Death Metal band Quest Of Aidance’s latest effort, entitled “Misanthropic Propaganda” (which btw is a FAT album indeed, so check it out).

The piece is a quite weird one, since I wanted different types of elements in there and also since the album deals with aliens and shit. So, I wanted it to be somewhat “spacey” (no, not Kevin) and just strange and mysterious, just as the Universe is. :lol:

Anyhow, I think it came out pretty cool. The acoustic part in the end is my personal favourite part of this strange sound artwork. It has some weird chord progression in it, and sounds somewhat evil. :evil: Nerdy hugs!
